VAT and Pricing Disclosure Policy

INTRODUCTION

Clear pricing builds trust, and trust is what keeps the marketplace running. This VAT & Pricing Disclosure Policy explains how Value Added Tax (VAT) applies to purchases made through iRazzh, how prices are displayed, how electronic invoices are issued, and the pricing standards every seller on the platform is required to follow.

Sellers who fail to comply with these standards are in breach of their Vendor Agreement. Violations are logged to their compliance score and may affect platform ranking and commission rate per iRazzh's published schedule.

1. VAT APPLICABILITY

All products and services sold through iRazzh are subject to the standard Value Added Tax (VAT) rate of 15%, as mandated by ZATCA and applicable across all taxable supplies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

iRazzh is a registered VAT entity and complies fully with all applicable ZATCA obligations, including registration, return filing, and e-invoicing requirements under the Invoicing system.

Where a seller on the platform is independently VAT-registered, that seller remains separately responsible for their own VAT compliance in respect of the supplies they make, in accordance with applicable Saudi tax law.

2. PRICE DISPLAY

iRazzh is committed to full pricing transparency at every stage of the shopping experience. Every seller operating on our platform must ensure that:

  • All prices displayed on the platform are VAT-inclusive, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the relevant listing.
  • A full price breakdown, net price, VAT amount, and total payable are shown at checkout and on every issued invoice.
  • Delivery fees are stated separately from the product price and are likewise subject to the standard 15% VAT rate.
  • The final VAT-inclusive amount payable is shown before payment is confirmed on any promotional or discounted item.

Non-compliance is a breach of the Vendor Agreement and is logged accordingly.

3. ELECTRONIC INVOICING

In compliance with ZATCA's e-invoicing mandate, iRazzh issues electronic tax invoices for all transactions completed on the platform, generated through a ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing solution operating under Phase 2 (Integration Phase) requirements.

As iRazzh's transactions are predominantly business-to-consumer in nature, invoices are issued in the form of Simplified Tax Invoices, in accordance with ZATCA's e-invoicing requirements for B2C transactions.

Each invoice includes, at a minimum:

  • IRazzh's VAT registration number.
  • The invoice issue date and a unique sequential invoice number.
  • A description and quantity of the product(s) or service(s) supplied.
  • The net price, applicable VAT rate, and VAT amount.
  • The total amount payable, inclusive of VAT.
  • A ZATCA-compliant QR code.

A QR code, compliant with ZATCA's technical specifications, enabling verification of the invoice.

Invoices are filed with ZATCA within the legally prescribed timeframe. They are accessible at any time through My Orders and are sent to the buyer's registered email address automatically. The Arabic version of any invoice governs in the event of any discrepancy.

4. PRICING TRANSPARENCY & PROHIBITED PRACTICES

To protect the integrity of the marketplace and the trust of every customer, the following practices are strictly prohibited on the iRazzh platform and constitute a breach of the Vendor Agreement:

  • Misleading promotional pricing: displaying a "was/now" discount not based on a genuine prior selling price.
  • Hidden fees: any charge not fully disclosed before checkout is completed.
  • Price manipulation: artificially inflating a listed price ahead of a sale or campaign to manufacture a false impression of value.
  • Inconsistent pricing: showing one price on the listing and a materially different amount at checkout, other than lawfully disclosed additions.

Any violation is logged in the seller's compliance score and may affect their platform ranking and commission rate per iRazzh's published schedule.

Sellers found in breach of these standards are subject to immediate listing removal and may face further account action, including listing suspension and account termination.

5. CURRENCY & PRICING DISPLAY STANDARD

All prices on the iRazzh platform are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR), in accordance with ZATCA requirements.

iRazzh provides the invoice infrastructure and enforces pricing standards as a marketplace facilitator. Each seller bears independent responsibility for the accuracy of their pricing and the VAT treatment applied to their listings. iRazzh is not liable for seller pricing errors or undisclosed charges beyond its enforcement obligations under this policy and the Vendor Agreement.
